Summary of Kula Origin Story:
Instead of eating him up, a lion named Kula allows a mouse to escape with the promise that he will help him one day. Kula is doubtful, but when he is trapped in a net, the mouse chews a hole big enough for the lion to get free. This teaches Kula the importance of respect, community, and friendship.
